Craigslist is a commonly used classified ad site. Internet visitors who are looking for specific products or services are likely to link to the website.

Viral marketing is a method of getting internet traffic. Writing out free reports of the products and posting them on directories newsgroups and niche websites will also attract internet traffic.

Getting traffic to the website is the hardest part of affiliate marketing. The affiliate needs to experiment with different strategies before traffic starts visiting the website. Once a working strategy is evolved, traffic and profits will begin to come in.
